At present my work explores issues arising from the relationship between the creative process and its public realisation, and how this relationship is both informed and distorted by the viewer's expectations and intervention.

Initially, I focussed on matters pertaining to location, and the importance of the "rationale" in validation and authentification of conceptual works. I am particularly interested in the dichotomy that has arisen from conceptual art practise, whereupon the viewer is unsure of the value of the work being presented as there are no longer fixed parameters to respond to.

This has led me to explore the way in which the viewer is able to  bring their own interpretation to a work, in order to understand and locate it.

My work is ultimately concerned with creating visual realisations of the implicit notions underpinning fine art.
